Hey Everyone. I know it has been a long long time since our last post. I wanted to drop in real quick and share something I learned not to long ago.
You know some of the greatest songs ever written are in the Psalms... these are beautiful songs that were wrote by people in the biblical days about and to the Lord.
Well while doing my reading plan I came across Psalm 119. This psalm is really long but is perhaps my favorite because the writer mainly talks about himself and what he can do to please the Father. He asks questions like " How can a young person stay on the path of purity?"
The Psalmist goes on to say things like "teach me your ways" and "direct me in the paths of your command."
That to me is the true heart of a Christian... someone who is humble and always willing to learn.
Ever since I have read that psalm I have been asking God to give me a Psalm 119 Heart. When you get a chance read it and see for yourself. Check you attitude and thoughts to that and see where you stand.
