A Rough Fight!!!

Hello all, I hope everyone had a great thanksgiving and getting ready to celebrate our savior’s birth! In case anyone is wondering... these messages from Warrior Ministry will come once a month from here on out. Anyway for this month's post I wanted to talk about something that I feel can really help people while giving them a new perspective on things.

You know you always here people say “well I’m not perfect!” which is true. I don’t care how long you have been saved or walking with God no one is perfect, nor will we ever be in this life. But have you ever stopped to think what makes us not perfect?

Well obviously it is sin, because sin keeps us away from a holy God. And I’m convinced everyone has his or her “vice” sin. That even when you become a christian and repent from your past life it still haunts you and nags you to come back or just have a little taste. Does this mean that you are not saved if you have this, absolutely not, it just means your human.

So what do we do when that temptation comes to do things you know are not right? See the enemy is smart... if your vice isn't drugs he doesn’t offer you weed, if it isn't lust he doesn’t offer you women. But he knows where and how to hit you, but I have good news... we can hit back!

Over the past month their have been fighting some sins that have followed me my whole life. And in studying what the word says about how to win every time that temptation comes I ran across a promise in Psalm 34:7, “ The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and he delivers them.”

Now when you break down that word “delivers” it means to equip for war, arm for war, rescue or be rescued. So the bible is literally saying, the angels of the lord surrounds those who fear him (Christians) and he rescues them and equips them for war!

Believe it or not your in a war, granted Jesus already won it by dieing on that cross but it is still a hard fight to walk in that victory daily. See we are fighting a defeated enemy so that makes him even more dangerous, its like hunting a wounded animal they will do anything to survive and he will do anything to win.

But the good news is that through Christ Jesus and his promises you can and will win every time IF you allow the Holy Spirit to help you.

Be Blessed, Fight to win
