GUARANTEED

Hi everyone I hope all is well with you. Sorry that the posts have been lagging but rest assure Warrior Ministry is still going strong.

You know ever since the new year I made a vow to myself to read the Bible in one year. So good ole technology has helped me do that by all the cool apps and stuff on my cell phone.

Now ever since I have been saved I've been a heavy Bible reader and studier. I love breaking down words and seeing what they really mean. But reading the whole bible in a year is cool because it makes me read in places that I never wood have other wise.

Another thing that reading it in one year does is makes me go over past chapters that I may have read and forgotten over time. One of those chapters was Deuteronomy 28 I always loved this chapter because it is a breakdown of God telling the Jews what he promised them IF they obeyed him.

He promised them property, protection and a plethora of other things. Well one of those promises is so awesome I had to read over it again to make sure I got it right.

In Deuteronomy 28:8 the Lord said, “The Lord will guarantee a blessing on everything you do and will fill your storehouses with grain. The Lord your God will bless you in the land he is giving you."

Now I don’t know about you but if God the maker of everything tells me that I have a GUARANTEED blessing on everything I do I tend to get happy. The word guarantee means... an assurance, warranty, confidence, sureness and pledge.

So basically the Lord is saying that if you obey him then in return we have a guaranteed, assured, warranted, confident, assured and pledged blessing on everything we do! Now a word of warning, that 'everything' isn’t an exchange for 'anything'. The everything we do must be right in Gods sight.

So I encourage you to obey God, first out of love and that’s our reasonable service. And second because obedience unlocks the door to all these great promises from the father.
