Sometimey...

Hey everyone, I hope you are having happy holidays.

I just wanted to stop in for a minute and share a quick piece of info that the Lord shared with me and I think it may help someone.

The other day I was going about my day and heard in my heart the Lord say, “Your feelings should be a bi product of your faith… your faith shouldn’t be a bi product of your feelings.”

I thought about it and realized that I had been letting my faith be a bi product or result of the way I felt. Meaning that if I was in a good mood and happy then my faith in believing God for answered prayers was high, but if my mood was down and I was upset or something then my faith was down and I wavered in my belief.

So I just want to encourage you not to fall into that trap, but to keep your faith constant always.

“We walk by faith and not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:7

“But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.” James 1:6-7

These scriptures above are straight out of the Bible and they say nothing about letting your faith be determined by how you feel. If that were the case then our emotions would rule our entire life both spiritual and physical and our faith would be sometimey… sometime up and sometime down. Now even though some people operate like that…Christians are not, so I pray you won’t.

Hey have a blessed Christmas and New Year! And I’ll see you next week.
