Lazy

Hello everyone, I hope all is well with you and your families. I also pray you have a blessed, full and nap filled Thanksgiving.

Hey, I just wanted to take a minute to visit with you if I could. Nothing long or deep… I just want to encourage you not to get lazy. Now you may ask what I mean, like lazy physically where you don’t go to the gym? That’s not it exactly I mean don’t get spiritually lazy.

Se recently I was at my in-laws church up in New Mexico on vacation and the pastor said something that I knew was a word for me. He said basically, “ Christians are not still” meaning that in our Christian walk we are always to be moving and growing. And for some reason I had let my busy schedule with work, the book and other stuff that I had let myself get stuck in a rut.

Now I was still living the Christian life you know, not living in sin and all but I got the feeling my ‘house’ wasn’t in order. And while in that church service I had a vision so to speak. I saw a this big pretty house that slowly and surely was turning not so pretty on the outside, cracks were forming and holes were showing up letting vermin and other things in.

After seeing that I heard the Lord tell me “ You must never be lazy in your prayer life, because that is your direct line to me.” After I thought about it I saw what he was talking about. Due to my laziness in prayer I was opening the door to things that I had once been delivered from and conquered in Jesus name.

So I just want to encourage you not to be lazy in your prayer life… the Bible says in Galatians 6:9, “ Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

Don’t fall in the trap I did… always keep your direct line to God open.

Sincerely
Warrior
Will Mitchell
