Work

Howdy yall!

Last week I shared with you what to look after first, and now this ties perfectly into the first point… “Money. Where does it come from?”

Remember in the story of Solomon what God said in response to his request. Well I want you to notice what came after it.

God said at the end of the of the 1 Kings 3:13 And I will also give you what you did not ask for—riches and fame! No other king in the entire world will be compared to you for the rest of your life!”

So we now know money or wealth for the Christian, comes from the Lord. This is a great revelation but unfortunately most Christians get all excited and run all over churches screaming, “THANK YOU JESUS” but they don’t understand how exactly to get the money.

Yes thank God for his provision, but we have to something too. We have to WORK you know… have a job, a gig, a 9 to 5.

The bible says in Deuteronomy 8:18, “ Remember it is the Lord your God who gives you the POWER to get wealth.”

I looked the word power up and it really means, “ability to do or act; capability of doing or accomplishing something.” So that scripture is saying it is the Lord who gives you the ability or capability to get wealth!

What do you think that capability or ability is?… It is WORK!!!!!!!!

It doesn’t matter if you are flipin burgers, or running a fortune 500 law firm. work is work. And when your on the job working hard is the key to getting money. The word says in Proverb 13:4, “Lazy people want much but get little, but those who work HARD will proper and be satisfied.”

This may seem simple to you but I had a hard time with it, and this is the revelation God have me about it. And once we work and get the money we next must figure out what to do with it.

So have a blessed week and work HARD no matter what it your job is and thank God you have one:

“Whatever you do, WORK at it with all your heart, as working for the LORD, not for men, since you know that you will receive an INHERITANCE from the Lord as a reward. It is the LORD CHRIST you are serving. Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for his wrong, and there is no favoritism.”
