What to do???

What’s going on my friends?

I’m glad to be able to come to you on Dad’s day, and I pray that all your dads and granddads and great granddaddies are blessed today.

I’m just going to continue to share with you all the things the Lord has shown me about $. This time I’m going to share what the Bible says about “ Money, what do I do with it?”

Now the world today is so ME ME ME, but that’s not how the Lord wants us to live. I mean yes the Lord wants his children to be blessed and enjoy the things of this world that are good, but life is not all about ME.

Jesus our Lord said in Luke 9:24 “For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it.”

Don’t trip, he isn’t talking about suicide or anything like that in this scripture, Jesus was simply talking about putting others before ourselves. Because he did that for us.

This principal may seem strange to the world but I promise this is the way Jesus has commanded us to live. When asked about what God wants us to do Jesus said in Matthew 22:36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

And you can love your neighbor in many ways but next week I am going to show you biblical ways we are commanded to do it with our money.
