What’s going on people? I hope all is well
This week’s blog is going to be a capstone on what I have been telling you about tithes over the past weeks.
I want you to keep in mind that everything that I write is in the Bible, so if you ever have questions or don’t believe me… crack that bible open and look for yourself.
Anyway this is the last week I will talk about it so I want to spend this time telling you how much God has blessed me just for obeying this simple command.
I’m a 22 year old college senior with limited income. My bills total $803.02 every month. That’s not counting gas getting to school (which is in another town), getting to work and around town. But the Lord sees to it that I have more than enough, every time! He is so faithful
I work part-time at a retail store and my checks are just enough to pay my bills. So it would seem crazy to pay money to a God you can’t see and believing a promise that is just written, but I do it.
Notice I said pay, yes pay entails that I owe something, and I do. Trust me God doesn’t need my little check, he doesn’t need the 10% of it, but the church does. They still have to pay bills and pay staff and other expenses.
God just wants to see how faithful I will be. And his word says, “ When we are unfaithful, he is faithful.” And after applying this principal in my life I have seen my life be blessed in every aspect! I mean everything I touch the lord blesses it, because I obey and trust him. “For every child of God defeats this evil world by trusting Christ to give the victory. And the ones who win this battle against the world are the ones who believe that Jesus is the strong>Son of God.”
Remember having money doesn’t mean that you have Gods approval, just because you have a fat bank account and a nice whip doesn’t mean that you are ok with God.
Be Blessed
