The Ultimate Conversation

What’s up everyone? I just wanted to halla at yall this Sunday and see what was up.

Well I am going on about things I practice that are biblically and telling you how they have benefited me.

Last week I told you about the action of praying and how it has worked in my life, this week I am going to talk briefly about the actual prayer.

The bible defines prayer as “a conversation with God in praise, thanksgiving or intersession.” And that’s exactly right.

The prayer of a believer is sweet incense to the throne of God. It says in Revelation 5:8 “When He had taken the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each one holding a harp and golden bowls full of INCENSE, which are the prayers of the saints."

Remember how God said in the Old Testament that he is passionate about a relationship with you, well he meant it! Do the other so-called 'gods' of all the other religions of the world make that claim?

But I must warn you; your prayer will not be heard if you are not living right. The bible says in Proverbs 15:29, “The LORD is far from the WICKED, But He hears the prayer of the righteous.”

I’ve heard a lot of people criticize the Lord and say he is a liar because there prayer wasn’t answered! But have they taken the time to pull back the curtain and see if they are “right standing” or righteous before God.

Quick question: “ Have you ever been mad because a prayer wasn’t answered?”

remember God is all-powerful and is always ready to help, but WE MUST OBEY HIM if we don’t then we will quickly be cut down
