Hello my fellow fighters!

I hope everyone has had a blessed week, I know I have with school being out and all!!

This week we will be wrapping up the breakdown of Luke 12:31.

Now that we know about the promise and the kingdom of God, we now need to learn how to keep it our #1 concern.

The best way that I have found to keep it my #1 concern was to always think about it.

The Bible says in Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brothers and sisters, keep your thoughts on whatever is right or deserves praise: things that are true, honorable, fair, pure, acceptable, or commendable.”

Trust me, what ever you think about is going to come to pass, if you think about killing people sooner or later that seed will grow into action. If you think about sex sooner or later you will have it. But if you turn your mind over to the Lord and think about things that will please him than whatever you think about is going to happen.

“Wherever your treasure is, there your heart and thoughts will be also,” is what Jesus said in Luke 12:34.

Let me give you and example of how this works in my Life.

It may sound crazy but I have a passion to die for the Lord I mean a physical death I want to be a martyr. I sometimes think about being put into a position to denounce the name of the Lord with my life at stake. I always imagine starring my killer in the face and telling him that I WILL NEVER TURN MY BACK ON THE LORD AGAIN… than boom I’m dead.

Like I said that might sound crazy but if you knew where God brought me from, and how kind he has been to me while I mess up and fall short you will understand. He is my best friend and I would GLADLY lay down my life for my king, after all he did the same for me.

But remember you and I are different, someone may think about how they can serve the Lord from day to day, or another may fantasize about seeing the Lord face to face.

However you wish to think about the Lord and his kingdom, MAKE SURE your thoughts are in line with his word. THE DEVIL, OUR ENEMY, CAN EASILY TRICK YOU AND BRING ACROSS THINGS THAT SEEM LIKE THEY ARE HOLY BUT THEY ARE REALLY A WOLF ION SHEEP’S CLOTHS.

Just always check yourself and ask the Holy Spirit to examine you to. Once you were saved you died to the flesh and were given a new mind in Christ!!

I challenge you to try it, all week take like 5 minutes open your mind up to the Lord and daydream about him. All the hustle and bustle of the day goes away and it’s just you and the Lord… he is waiting on ya
