Hello my friends
I hope everyone is having a good week, I pray tests and all are going great.
This post isn’t going to be long just a little tidbit of knowledge and warning the Holy Spirit gave to me and I want to share it with you all.
Last week I was reading in the Bible about the temptation of Jesus. I had studied it before and always got something new from it.
Some of you may be shocked to hear that Jesus was tempted, but O YES he was. That’s how I know that Christianity is above any other belief in the world.
Because with all the others thee one they call ‘holy’ or God have always failed, but Jesus is the ONLY one who was faced with temptation and NEVER gave in, and he was tempted by SATAN himself, not some little chump demon on his first temptation assignment.
Anyhow, what I wanted to share with you is this scripture in Luke 4:13 when is says, “When the devil had finished all this tempting, he left him until an OPPORTUNE time.”
Opportune means, “appropriate, favorable, or suitable.” So I prayed about it and thought about it and the Holy Spirit showed me that in each of our lives the devil and his soldiers are looking for favorable, appropriate times to attack us. Remember yall that we are all WARRIORS, and in battle you advisary will attack your weakest area.
I’m not trying to freak you out, but you have demons watching your every move. They are looking and waiting for a chance to pounce and over take you.
ESPECIALLY if you are a Christian because you’re every breath is a threat to them.
Remember a few months back when I broke down the armor Paul told us to put on EVERY morning, well that’s why. Even in the military they tell the soldiers “not to present themselves as a target”
How do you not give the devil an opportunity to come in? Well that depends on what area you are weakest at. Like myself for example, I still fight the flesh when it comes to women.
And one way I shield myself is to cut off contact with them after a certain time at night. Ummm what else? O yea the most important thing I do is that I involve the Lord in EVERYTHING I do, in every relationship and friendship.
But really it just depends on your own personal weakness but I encourage you to ask the Lord to show you what you can improve on and then ask him to help you not present a target, and he will I promise.
He said in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."
One last thing that works for me that blocks the devil from coming in, is that the Lord is the 1st one I talk to in the morning and the Last one I talk to before I go to sleep. That has yielded more success for me than anything I have ever done.
