Growing up life threw me a lot of curve balls in my youth that FORCED me to grow up fast. My parents divorced suddenly and my family was ripped apart, I can remember watching the movers take my mother out of the house and my heart went along with her.
For the next six years my life was a blur, I turned into a womanizing, lying, stealing monster and completely turned my back on God. Trying to satisfy my flesh, I deserved Hell, but thank the Lord for his undying mercy and grace because that is the only thing that extended the time of judgment coming my way. I completely gave my life over to Christ in the spring of 2006 in my dorm room when conviction hit me like a mighty windstorm.... I a grown man wept like a baby when I realized what I had been doing to our Savior and once I surrendered to his will and cried out for him to help, I felt his loving arms wrap around me and set me back on the rock of his word. Now I am a new creation and my old man has been laid to rest!
You see friends the whole human race has an enemy who wants you DEAD, he is the Devil... who as the bible says, "Is the accuser of the brethren" day and night he stands there accusing use before God himself. The Word of God says, " And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony. And they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die." You see we can fight back against our enemy... by the blood of the lamb (Jesus) and by our testimony, which is simply telling someone how Jesus saved us and what he did for us in our own lives.
The Lord told me to start this blog because he wants his children to learn to FIGHT!!! But before you enter the war you must be born again, and repent of your sins the Bible says in John 3:16 “For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life." So my friends if you have taken the first and most important step which is believing in the one God sent and repenting from your sins, than you have just been enrolled in boot camp. And if you are like me and want to fight the enemy and his forces who have stolen something from you than this blog is for you. The Lord is going to teach you his word and his plan through these blog postings.. There will be a fresh post ever Sunday by 12:00 A.M. Central Time.
