Can I Be Frank?....

What’s What’s up what is cracking party people? Today I come to you from the BIG METROPOLITAN ARE of…Clovis nm!!! Ha just joshin’ ya!!!

No really I am in Clovis kickin it with the in-laws and such. Hay! I am really super hyped to write this blog tonight, the other day I ran across a scripture that I know will bless everyone.

In Ephesians 3:12 it says “Because of Christ and our faith in him, we can now come boldly and fearlessly into God's presence, assured of his glad welcome.”

Now at first glance when I read this I thought, o yea cool God, Jesus yay…. (low enthusiasm). But when I went back and read it again and again and again until I had it down in my head and heart I finally got the awesomeness of this scripture and what God was really saying.

You know when I come and talk to my earthly dad I do it boldly and fearlessly, I walk up in the house, go in the kitchen, grab a drink, sit down and start changing the channels and when he walks in the living room I always greet him saying “HEY DADDY” and like clockwork he replies… “Hey Big Fella, how are ya son!?” and he comes and huges me and kisses me on the forehead and we go from there.

And when I was lying in bed thinking of this scripture it hit me… because of our faith in Jesus and only by our faith in him we can do the same with GOD the maker of heaven and earth. I mean YES you come to him in honor and respect and not like your homeboy. But still we can come to him OPENLY AND FRANKLY, because that’s what boldly in this scripture means. And once more we can be SURE OF HIS GLAD WELCOME… for a second I thought… God is Glad to see ME… are you sure Lord?

You know in my dad’s and I conversation we talk like father and son, like two best friends, and sometimes he still talks to me in a more stern disciplinary way. But it’s all in love.

Some of you reading may not come to God because you don’t think you can, or maybe you do but you just want to hear the good parts and never any correction (I know I used to think like that). But the bible says, “God disciplines the ones he loves” and “Cast your cares on me for I care what happens to you”. There are a million reasons why some one may not come to him but only one reason we can and are able to come to him boldly and openly and that’s because of CHRIST JESUS…

See I don’t need a saint to talk to God for me or, try to find him through 1,000,000,000,000,.000 different ways. All I need is to put my faith, my true faith in Jesus and I can come right to the father MYSELF he is the only ticket!

In Exodus the bible says, “ God is passionate about his relationship with you!” and anytime of day or night you need him he is there ready, able and willing to hear and talk to you.

BUT WE CAN ONLY DO IT THROUGH THE NAME AND BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS. That’s the ONLY way we can have concert with God.

See I don’t know Brad Pitt, Tiger Woods, or President Obama. I don’t know the Governor of Texas or even the Mayor of Amarillo, but I think of it like this… when I wake up in the morning and go in my secret place and get on my knees and say, “ father I come to you in the NAME OF JESUS.” INSTANTLY I HAVE THE ALPHA AND OMEGA’S ATTENTION, and when I call on him he promised that he WILL you and I and he WILL listen and he WILL answer…



“If my people, who are called by my name, WILL humble themselves and PRAY and SEEK MY FACE and TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS, then WILL I HEAR from heaven and WILL forgive their sin and WILL heal their land.”
