Lean Into Him..

Have you ever been in a crowded, noisy room trying to have a conversation with someone? When you can't hear what they are saying, what do you do? Most likely, you lean in just a little bit closer so you can hear them better. You probably focus more intently on their facial expressions so you can understand what they are communicating. In the same way, when the noise of life seems loud or overwhelming, that's when we need to lean into God just a little bit closer. That's when we need to make the extra effort to focus more intently on Him in order to hear what He is speaking to our hearts.

I encourage you to lean into Him just a little bit more. Set aside time for Him. Study and meditate on His Word and fellowship with Him through prayer and worship. Faith comes by hearing the Word God. As you stay connected to Him and commit yourself to a good, Bible-based church, you are feeding your faith which opens the door for Him to move on your behalf. Remember, His plans are for your good. He wants to bless you beyond your wildest dreams. It doesn't matter what happened last week or last year, it doesn't matter what's going on in the world around you, it only matters what God says. There are a lot of voices in the world today, but His voice will guide you into a place of peace and rest. Lean into Him and listen as He fills your heart with the hope and promise of a bright and blessed future.

"Be still and rest in the Lord; wait for Him and patiently lean yourself upon Him…" (Psalm 37:7, AMP).
