What’s crackin everyone? I don’t have a lot to say but I do have something powerful to say… hope it blesses you ;)
You know in today’s world there is a lack of a lot of things like gas, food, time, and energy. But there is one thing that I see is lacking big time in Christians. This resource I’m talking about is JOY.
You know I know stuff is happening in your lives that are threatening your peace and happiness and I’m not making light of that… but come on ya’ll! we are saved we are in the Lord Jesus Christ and we should have a joy that sparks curiosity in unbelievers bringing them to the Lord.
You know I learned a long time ago that there are three things that the Devil is working to steal from us. Faith in God and his word, Our Peace and our Joy.
And remember that binding and loosing stuff from last week? Well Jesus gave us that power to bind the devil from taking it, and loose the Lord to bringing it! A fellow warrior in this ministry and good friend of mine also pointed out that we need to loose ourselves not only to things but from things. So if you find yourself struggling with peace and Joy loose yourself from that fight and declare victory in the NAME OF JESUS!
Jesus made this very clear and this scripture I’m about to share is one I have been meditating on for about 5 months. It talks about our entitlement to joy and peace, what we must do to have it and keep it! So read this and pray, if you are fighting for joy and peace you may not be fighting the devil, it may be the Lord egging you to change in some way, because you can only have this perfect joy and peace if you are IN THE ONLY ONE WHO IS JOY AND PEACE!
John 15 :9-17
“ As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. 10If you OBEY MY COMMANDS, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father's commands and remain in his love. 11I HAVE TOLD YOU THIS SO THAT MY JOY MAY BE IN YOU AND THAT YOUR JOY MAY BE COMPLETE. 12My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. 13Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. 14You are my friends if you do what I command. 15I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master's business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. 16You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. 17This is my command: Love each other.”
