What is going on youse guys???? I hope all is well I just want to halla at you for a little while.
As you know I have been talking to you about the Biblical ways to get prayers answered, like I said I have been learning from God this whole summer on this subject.
I started with the supernatural, well now I want to share what we must do in the natural.
You see some Christians start the process right by sewing the seeds in the supernatural like praying, tithing, and worshiping but then they stop! The Bible specifically talks about faith and how you must WORK in the natural along with the supernatural.
In James 2:17 the Bible says, “In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is DEAD.” This is simply saying that you have to back what your believing God for by works. I mean you cant have faith alone a lot of people have faith but they are lazy and do not want to work in the natural to get what they asked God of.
For example… in anything your believing God for the very first thing you must so is to be SURE that you’re doing is OBEYING him 1 John 3:21-22 says, “since our conscience is clean let us come to God with confidence he will give us what we ask for because we OBEY him and do what is pleasing to him.” See you must OBEY and anyone who is truly a Christian can tell you that this takes WOOOOOORK I mean in the natural it is not always easy to obey.
The Lord told me one day that “it’s vital that you are obeying me because you love me not because you want something,” obeying because you something from me is not love at all it’s MANIPULATION.”
And don’t think that your secretly getting away with a fake obedience because when trials and test come to you in the natural, you will fall like a deck of cards if you are not sincere in your obedience.
So ill leave you with a question that God asked me, “Are you working to obey me? I mean really working in your natural earthly body I gave you, are you using it for my will and purposes?”
Friends take time, just five minutes to look at your life and ask yourself that same question. And remember no one is perfect! And everyone has room for improvement. Ask God what he sees in you, or what does he want to see more of? And humble yourself by asking the Holy Spirit to help you bear the fruit that will glorify the Lord.
Jesus said, “Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him” John 14:21.

I like the quote from James. You are right that people use a check list to "get what they want." If I do this and this I will get what I want, usually something of this world.
