You Are Weak!!

What’s going on my friends? Once again I pray that you all had a blessed week. Before we get started today, I feel lead by the Lord to let you know that this blog does NOT take the place of church, maybe some of the readers think that this blog is an established church... well its not! I am not a preacher and I have not been ordained by GOD himself to lead his sheep, I encourage you all to find a church that teaches you the real word of God and not some false doctrine, pray and ask the Lord and his Holy Spirit to lead you to the right church that will help you advance the Kingdom of heaven.

Now with all that said lets get started... Amen?!

Since the Lord just broke down the armor of the Lord, he told me to talk to you about weakness. Some people are afraid to admit their weakness, but trust me we all are weak and need the Lord our God. The Bible says in John 15:5 "I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me (Jesus) and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing."

You see we as humans have a dependency on the Lord he is VITAL to us in our everyday life, even for you readers who do not believe there is a God have an innate dependency on God! And we have this dependency because we all have weaknesses whether it is with: sex, drugs, money, pride, drinking, or cursing we all are weak.

I KNOW I DO!! There are areas in my life I know im weak and I cry out to Jesus to help me and he stays true to his word when he said, " I will always be with you, even until the ends if the earth."

Every man, woman, boy and girl born have been weak in certain areas, Jesus said in Matthew 26:41 "Keep watching and praying that you may not enter into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak." and he told this to Peter, who in some cultures is esteemed higher than Jesus himself! Trust me my friends Jesus is the only person born who was faced with the same things we face but never gave in, as a matter of fact the Devil still could not make him sin, even when he was hungry sleepy and near death! WHAT A MIGHTY GOD WE SERVE

In 2 Corinthians Paul recognized he had many weaknesses, and The Lord Jesus answered him with this, " But he told me: "My kindness is all you need. My power is strongest when you are weak." So I will brag even more about my weaknesses in order that Christ's power will live in me. Notice that at the end of the scripture Paul said that he brags on his weakness, now some may take this as an excuse to sin, but that’s not what he means. He means that he wants people to see his weakness so that it can ultimately bring glory to Jesus and make people realize that they depend on the Holy Spirit DAILY . Think about people you know who do things that are great things and you know that person shouldn’t be able to do them, now ask yourself if they are a Christian, I guarantee no one who has ever done anything great for the world or the Lord did them without the Holy Spirit!!

To end this blog I want to tell you a short story... Last spring I was felling sluggish in my flesh tired and just feeling dull!! I wasn’t getting any revelation from the Lord and everything was just looking gray and black to me. Than the Holy Spirit told me..." you haven’t been training" I thought what, training? After I sat still and was opened up to the Lord he showed me that my training is reading his word EVERY DAY, and I had stopped. He said " if your a warrior for me then why have you not been training? I still have many things to show you." After that I got back reading my Bible and continued to be trained by the Holy Spirit and my pastors at CHRUCH. I wonder how many of my fellow warriors have not been training... Remember, "Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour"

Lions only go after the animals they think are the weakest. But the good news is that Jesus our savior is the STRONGEST and he lives in those who love him!!

GREAT JOB WILL!
Keep it up.
My comment to this weeks AND last weeks blog would be this.
The enemy wants YOU and ME to be “weak” so that we are not able to attack. When we are weak it is almost more than we can bear to defend ourselves, much less attack. You made a great comment about Jesus facing the same things that we face yet remained strong.
HOW DID HE DO THIS?
1. Because He is God! :-)
2. But also, because he had eaten… let me explain: He had planted God’s Word in His heart, mind, spirit. So that when those moments of trial, temptation, and weakness appeared he remained Strong!
As Will talked about a couple weeks ago… The Word of God is our Sword! It is our food, gives us direction, corrects us when we need a good kick in the pants, and gives us power to OVERCOME!

BLESSINGS… You Rock Will!
I believe in you!
