C or C?

Hello everyone,


I just want to give you a thought. This topic is something that I have been wrestling with in my own life just thinking about it.

For a week or so I’ve been studying the word bless. Forever I have heard it said in and out of church, so I decided to study it for myself. However, this word can mean many different things and it can be used in many different situations.

But while studying it one way it was used really stuck out to me and I’ve been looking into my own life by these criteria. One way the word blessed is used in the Bible is to “Praise”... when you look into the word praise it can also mean to give a commendation.

Now I know this isn’t real heavy, but stay with me...

Anyway... if you can bless, praise or give an commendation then you can obviously do the opposite. Well, what is the opposite of bless? It's to curse... when I looked that up it means to condemn. Now I said all that to say this..

When its all done and said and you are standing before God, do you want him to Commend your life and the things you have done with it or Condemn it?

I have been thinking about that hard while reviewing things I've done, decisions I've made and the things I believe . While going through the Bible and making sure my beliefs match those words.

So I encourage you to do the same... not to be like me (trust me no one wants to do that) but to be like Christ. Like the Bible says in Philippians 2:15 “so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe.”

And if it was not for the precision blood of Jesus, there is NO WAY that this is possible.
